My friend keeps putting me down?

-my socalled friend has started bulling me in every way casuse when we got to high school beacause he hangs out with the cool kids and he doesent want to ruin his reputation with the cool kids by hanging out with a loser like me. i tried to stand up for myself but he gave me the beating of my life and he embarrassed me infront of the girl i like and now i just want it to end any advice given is appreaceatedI'm not sure you should stay friends with them. The measure of a friend is "what they do at times of difficulty not at times of comfort".



You're not a loser- you stood up for yourself which is the right thing to do. People should begin to realize he's a jerk if he's giving you a tough time and abandoning you for other friends.



Don't hang around with him, but don't bother arguing. From my experience, that's how you get people out of your life and escape their attention. When I started secondary school, I tried to be someone i wasn't and I regret it. The coolest people, in my view, are those who choose their friends not by clothes, the girls they get etc. but those who you are happy around and trust.You say that your 'friend' is putting you down, but are they really a friend if they're putting you down? You should ask them if they're still your friend or not. If i was you i would try to find some new friends because im sure that's not how a friend is supposed to act.
Forget your so called friend find people who actually want to be with you. You know spend time with you and respect you. If you do this now i'm down right positive that your high school years will be more enjoyable.
