I have an urge to be liked?

-I'm 14 i am popular but the problem is i hate not being 'liked' i will walk up to a stranger and just start chatting and get their number and make sure were 'friends' my best friend says i am too nice i will do anything for anyone. Like last week a boy at school had lost his blackberry back, so i gave him mine even through i had only got it a few weeks ago for my birthday and she says i need to learn to say no, i dont like to say no in case they think i'm mean and not a very good friendThere is no such thing as being too nice. And I'm almost sure everyone wants to be loved by everyone as well. But my advice is that you prepare to be in deep pain if you can't stop yourself from being super nice. The world can get very cruel. Some people would take advantage of your niceness. Many would abuse it. In short learn to say no because after then you would be able to find your real friends which is what you're really looking for.You do have to learn to say no. Eventually people will take advantage of you being too nice. I'm not saying all people are bad, but it does happen. Everyone has limits to what they do or don't want. You show those limits by saying no. Should that mean that some people won't like you, so be it. It's not like everyone has to be your friend. I'd rather a small group of really close friends than a large group that only says they're your 'friend'.

life will reward you girl just take it slow and calm im like back but you know what the way people treat me i treat them back the same way but i learned that that's not right people will like you for what you do for them not for what you give them because material things don't buy happiness or someone to like you
Being nice and going over the top are two different things. You can be nice to people, but if you don't learn to keep a hold of yourself, they will take advantage of you. Saying no sometimes will benefit you more than anyone else.
You are SO COMPLETELY NICE for doing that!!!!!!!!! There is nothing wrong with that. Your SUPPOSE to be nice to everyone even if they are mean to you. Except a lot of people just cannot do that. Ex: ME.
